Slow fashion and genuine sustainability come together in a new collaboration between accessory brand Ally Capellino and Margent Farm a British hemp producer. The ‘hemp will save the world backpack and field salve’ demonstrate a shared interest in materials that have low environmental impact, and where the intrinsic natural beauty is celebrated.

AC designer Alison Lloyd and Margent farm’s co-founder Fawnda Denham connected through mutual admiration on Instagram. The organic hemp backpack is a manifestation of their desire to demonstrate the untapped possibilities of this fast growing, carbon gobbling, soil improving, bio degradable, giant of a fibre. The backpack, and now bucket bag, are available in 2 colours. The backpack is fitted with a padded base and laptop section plus internal pockets in the cotton drill lining. Externally it closes securely with zip across top, and has adjustable webbing straps and large contrast stitched pockets on the front. There is also a concealed tiny pocket in the backpacks dedicated to a small tin of hemp salve with high grade CBD content for happy skin.
